CAD Specialist/Project Manager - Wieser Concrete

Wieser Trucking Inc supports Wieser Concrete by hauling and placing many of the manufactured items like tanks, retaining walls and other custom products all over the USA.

    The CAD/Project Manager will work closely with the sales and design teams to take a project from a takeoff to final delivery/installation.


    Primary responsibilities:

    • Produce submittal documents after receipt of an order. Work closely with the customer to ensure prompt submittal approval.
    • Civil drafting of shop drawings for submittal and approval.
    • Obtain submittal documents from suppliers/vendors.
    • Work with outside engineering firms when required to provide project engineered designs.
    • Follow up with customers through the submittal and approval process until project submittals are approved and ready to be forwarded to production.
    • Download plans and complete takeoffs of potential projects including developing quotes for project bids.
    • Stay in touch with customers through the pre-bid, bid, and post-project bid process.
    • Assist production manager with scheduling and inventory control.
    • Assist dispatcher with the scheduling of customer-requested product delivery/deliveries schedule. To meet the customer needs and for efficient use of trucks.
    • Assisting other office employees with project information for specification requirements, scheduling, billing, etc.
    • Work closely with the company sales/marketing team to promote the company and its entire product line, including tradeshow. representation and attendance.
    • Always project a positive attitude and professional image to all employees, management, customers, and the community.
    • Engineering/construction management and civil drafting background is a plus.

      Qualifications:

      • Highly organized self-starter who is creative, collaborative and offers thoughtful insights
      • Project management skill
      • Experience with drafting/design software is highly recommended

        Job Type: Full-time, on-site

        Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour


        Schedule:

        • 8 hour shift - with overtime opportunities
        • Monday to Friday

          Boom Truck Driver - Wieser Concrete

            Primary responsibilities:

            • Operate boom truck crane to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials such as, but not limited to, highway barriers, concrete silo bunkers and septic tanks at construction and customer sites.
            • Perform pre-operational inspection on equipment and calculate crane capacities to prepare for rigging and hoisting
            • Safely load and secure all materials
            • Perform routine maintenance on crane and boom truck, including daily inspection and required lubrication
            • Follow all Company and OSHA regulations
            • Record and log all required information including driver's logs and delivery tickets
            • Other tasks as assigned

              Qualifications:

              • Class A CDL license
              • Clean motor vehicle record
              • Ability to pass a background and drug test
              • 2+ years of experience

                Job Type: Full-time, on-site

                Salary: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
